How to deposit USDC on Solana
To deposit USDC on Solana, withdraw USDC from your exchange or wallet, choose Solana as the network, and paste the Solana address you want to fund. The network is the step that matters: the same network has to be used on the sending and receiving end.
To deposit USDC on Solana, you send USDC from wherever it sits now (an exchange or another wallet) and pick Solana as the network. That is the whole trick. USDC exists on many blockchains, and the network you choose on the sending side has to match the one the receiving address lives on. Get that right and the rest is copy and paste.
What USDC on Solana is
USDC on Solana is Circle's dollar stablecoin issued natively on the Solana blockchain as an SPL token. It is the same USDC you hold on an exchange, just living on a different chain. Circle publishes the official token address (the mint) for each chain. On Solana it is:
EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v
You rarely need that address when sending from an exchange, but it is how you tell real USDC from a look-alike token in a wallet or on an explorer. Circle's own guide recommends checking a token's contract address against its official list.
copypump's balance is USDC on Solana. Copies spend it on buys, and sells land back in it.
How to deposit USDC on Solana from an exchange
On every major exchange the flow is the same: buy USDC, choose withdraw or send, paste the destination address, select Solana as the network, and confirm. The labels differ, so here is what to look for.
- Get USDC. Buy it, or convert from another balance. If you already hold USDC, skip this.
- Open withdraw or send. Choose USDC as the asset.
- Paste the address. In copypump, /deposit shows your Solana address. Copy it from there, never from a message someone sent you.
- Pick the network: Solana. This is the step people get wrong. More below.
- Check and confirm. Check the first and last characters of the address, the network, and the amount you will receive after the exchange's withdrawal fee.
USDC on Solana from Coinbase
Coinbase supports sending and receiving USDC on Solana. Its help centre says that when an asset is on several networks, the available networks show during the send steps, and a default network is already selected. So look at the network field and change it to Solana if it shows something else. Coinbase also states it cannot recover funds sent or received using an incorrect network.
USDC on Solana from Binance
Binance's withdrawal guide says that on the website, the system matches the network to the address you paste, and on the app you select the network yourself. Either way, its own warning is blunt: if you select the wrong network, your funds might be lost and cannot be recovered. Check that the network reads Solana before confirming.
Exchange screens change often, and availability depends on your country. What is above reflects their help pages at the time of writing (September 2026). If your screen looks different, follow the exchange's current help page, and remember the one rule that does not change: the network must be Solana.
Fund copypump with /deposit
In copypump, /deposit gives you two ways in: USDC on Solana sent straight to your copypump address, or USDC from another chain through a one-time address.
| Your USDC is on | What to do in /deposit |
|---|---|
| Solana (or an exchange that withdraws on Solana) | Send USDC straight to your copypump address. |
| Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon or BNB Chain | Send USDC to a one-time deposit address. Relay bridges it to your Solana balance, usually within a minute. |
If your USDC is on an exchange that supports Solana withdrawals, the first row is the simple path: no bridge. The second row is covered step by step in how to bridge USDC to Solana.
Common mistakes when sending USDC on Solana
Almost every deposit problem is one of these five, and all of them are avoided by reading the confirm screen once more.
| Mistake | Why it matters | What to do instead |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong network | Exchanges warn funds sent on the wrong network may not be recoverable. | Select Solana on the sending side for your copypump address. |
| Wrong token | Copies spend USDC on Solana. Another token is not your copy balance. | Send USDC. Convert on the exchange first if needed. |
| A look-alike USDC | A token named USDC with a different mint is not Circle's USDC. | Withdraw USDC from a major exchange, or check the mint. |
| Mixing up the two /deposit addresses | A one-time address takes USDC only, on that chain only, and expires after 48 hours. | Use your Solana address for Solana, the one-time address for its own chain. |
| Adding a memo | A memo identifies deposits to an exchange's shared address. A personal wallet does not need one. | Leave it out. The address and network are enough. |
One more practical point. If you send from a self-custody Solana wallet rather than an exchange, that wallet pays the Solana network fee in SOL, so keep a little SOL in it for the transfer itself.
How to check a USDC deposit arrived
A USDC transfer on Solana is a public transaction you can look up yourself. Your exchange shows a transaction ID (sometimes called a hash or signature) once the withdrawal is sent. Paste it into any Solana explorer to see the amount, the token and the destination address. If the explorer shows USDC landing at your copypump address, the deposit is done, whatever an app is still displaying. If the exchange still says pending, the withdrawal has not left yet, and the delay is on its side.
How much USDC to deposit
Deposit enough for several trades, not one. A fixed copy starts at $3, and a percentage copy is never placed under $2, but with one buy's worth in the wallet, the copies after it wait for funds. The per-trade size matters more than the total: pick a size you are relaxed about losing in full, then fund a few of them. More in how much to start copytrading with.
If a copy is skipped for lack of funds, the low balance alert in /settings (on by default) tells you.
After the deposit: arm before it matters
Copying arms itself at the end of the copy flow, and a copy fills once there is USDC behind it. So fund the wallet before the trader's next move, not after you see it. Your cash shows in /portfolio.
The money stays yours. /withdraw sends USDC back out on Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, BNB Chain or Polygon, minimum $1, and copypump charges nothing on deposits or withdrawals. See how to withdraw from copypump, and the docs for the full deposit rules.
Frequently asked
How do I deposit USDC on Solana?
Withdraw or send USDC from your exchange or wallet, select Solana as the network, and paste a Solana address as the destination. Check that the network on the sending side is Solana before you confirm.
Can I send USDC on Solana from Coinbase?
Yes. Coinbase supports sending USDC on Solana. When an asset is on several networks, Coinbase shows the network during the send steps with a default already selected, so change it to Solana if needed.
What happens if I send USDC on the wrong network?
Funds sent on the wrong network can be lost. Coinbase and Binance both warn that they cannot recover funds sent using an incorrect network, so check the network before confirming.
Do I need a memo to send USDC to a Solana wallet?
No. A memo or tag is used by exchanges to identify deposits to a shared address. Sending to a personal Solana wallet address, such as your copypump address, needs only the address and the Solana network.
How do I fund copypump?
Send /deposit to @copypumpfun_bot. It shows your copypump address for USDC on Solana, or a one-time address for USDC from Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon or BNB Chain, bridged through Relay.
One address. USDC on Solana.
Open /deposit in the bot, copy your copypump address, and send USDC on the Solana network. Copies fill once there is USDC behind them.
