How copypump works, setting by setting.

copypump copytrades wallets from the public pump.fun leaderboard: their buys and their sells, at your size, from Telegram. This page is the whole manual, from picking a wallet to getting your money out.

Bot @copypumpfun_botTrades on SolanaWallets from pump.funBalance in USDC

What copypump is

copypump is a Telegram bot. You pick a wallet from the public pump.fun leaderboard, or any Solana wallet you want to follow, and set your size. From then on, every buy and every sell that wallet makes is copied into your own wallet, at your size, while you do something else.

  • You copy exits too. A copy is a position that opens and closes with the trader, unless one of your own exits fires first.
  • It trades on Solana. Your balance is USDC on Solana, and copies buy and sell tokens from it.
  • The money sits in your wallet. You can withdraw it or export the private key at any time.
Independent. copypump is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by pump.fun, and the traders on the leaderboard have not endorsed it. It reads the same public leaderboard and on-chain data anyone can read.

Start in five steps

  1. 01

    Open the bot

Send /start to @copypumpfun_bot. It creates your Solana wallet.

  2. 02

    Pick a wallet

/leaderboard shows the top PnL wallets on pump.fun. Or use /find with a pump.fun username or a wallet address.

  3. 03

    Run the copy flow

About a dozen questions, nothing pre-selected, and a last screen listing everything you chose before anything is armed.

  4. 04

    Fund your wallet

/deposit: USDC on Solana, or USDC from another chain through Relay.

  5. 05

    Let it run

You get a message on each copied trade. /portfolio and /copies are the two screens you will live in.

Copying arms itself at the end of the flow, and a copy fills once there is USDC behind it. Fund the wallet before the trader's next move.

Pick a wallet

From the leaderboard

/leaderboard lists the top PnL wallets of the public pump.fun leaderboard, with 24h, 7d and 30d tabs (7d by default). Wallets are ranked on their PnL over the selected window, and the list is refreshed from pump.fun every 10 minutes. Tap a wallet to open its card: followers, 24h / 7d / 30d PnL, positions, average buy, and links to its pump.fun profile and X. The card is where you start copying.

With /find

/find takes any of these and makes the wallet copyable, on the leaderboard or not:

  • a pump.fun username (3 to 32 letters, digits, _ or .), resolved through pump.fun;
  • a pump.fun profile link;
  • a Solana wallet address.

Send /find name in one message, or /find then the name. A token address opens that token's card instead. Screenshots are not read: send the username or the address as text.

Pasting a bare address in the chat, without /find, is read as a token address first. To copy a wallet, go through /find.

The copy flow

Copying a wallet runs a short flow. Every step needs a tap, and nothing is armed until the last screen. In order:

  1. Sizing mode: fixed amount, or a percentage of the trader.
  2. Your size.
  3. Max per trade (percentage mode only).
  4. Minimum trader trade to follow.
  5. Market cap band: minimum, then maximum.
  6. First buys only, or all buys.
  7. Take profit, up to three rungs.
  8. Stop loss.
  9. What the stop becomes after a take profit (asked when part of the position is left to ride).
  10. Max chase.
  11. When the trader sells at a loss.
  12. Same coin, two traders.

The last screen lists every answer, the impact guard and the fee. Tap 🟢 start copying to arm it. You can then 💾 save the setup, and your next copy offers to start from it.

Sizing

Sizes are in US dollars, spent from your USDC balance. Sizing is set per trader: one wallet at $20 a trade, another at 5% of theirs.

Fixed amountper trader
Options
$20 · $50 · $100 · custom from $3, no ceiling

The same amount on every copied buy. They buy $400, you buy $50. They buy $2,000, you buy $50. A fixed amount is never trimmed by max per trade.

Percentage of the traderper trader
Options
1% · 3% · 5% · 10% · custom 1 to 100%

A share of what they spent. They buy $400: at 10% you buy $40. You scale with their conviction, including the trade where they go big. A percentage copy that would come out under $2 is placed at $2.

Max per tradeper trader · percentage mode
Options
$50 · $100 · $250 · custom from $3

A hard ceiling on any single copy. At 2%, a $30,000 buy would be $600 without it.

A shared safety cap can also scale very large copies down. When it does, the fill message says the size was trimmed.

How a copy happens

The trader buys. copypump sees the trade on-chain, runs it through your rules, and buys at your size. When the trader sells, the sell is copied the same way.

What can skip a buy

The first rule that matches stops the copy. Most skips send you a message with the reason and a way to change the setting.

RuleSkipped when
PausedCopying is paused on your account.
Minimum tradeThe trader's own buy is under your minimum.
Market cap bandThe token is outside the band you set.
First buys onlyIt is not the trader's first entry into that token.
No re-buy after a sellThe token left your wallet in the last 24 hours.
First buy winsYou already hold the coin through another trader.
CooldownYou bought that token less than your cooldown ago.
Max positionsYou are at your cap and this would be a new token. Adding to one you hold is allowed.
Max chase · max impactThe price ran too far past their entry, or your fill would move the pool too much.
Late signalThe buy reached copypump more than 60 seconds after it happened.

Which sells apply to you

Only the trader who opened your position can close it. If trader A opened your bag and trader B sells the same coin, your bag is untouched.

Settings

Two places hold your rules. The copy flow sets the rules for that trader. /settings holds the rules that apply to your whole account.

Set in the copy flow

Minimum trader tradecopy flow
Options
$50 · $250 · $1,000 · custom · no filter

Ignore trades under this amount. Small buys are often probes, not conviction. Set it too high and a copy can stay quiet for days.

Market cap bandper trader
Minimum
$100k · $500k · $1m · custom · no filter
Maximum
$1m · $5m · $10m · custom · no filter

Only copy buys inside the band. Tiny caps run harder and rug harder. The band never blocks an exit.

First buys onlyper trader
Options
First buys only · all buys

Copy only the trader's very first entry into a token. Exits on tokens you hold still copy either way.

Max chasecopy flow
Options
10% · 25% · 50% · custom 1 to 200% · off

If the price already ran this far past the trader's entry by the time your buy would land, it is skipped. Tight means more skipped copies on fast movers. Loose means you sometimes buy the candle they created.

Same coin, two traderscopy flow
Options
First buy wins · buy again
Default
Buy again

First buy wins keeps one position per coin. Buy again lets each trader's buy add to it, inside your cooldown.

Take profit, stop loss and the stop after a take profit are covered in How a position closes.

Set in /settings

⏸ Pause allaccount

The kill switch. Paused, nothing is copied, buys or sells, until you resume. Nothing is sold either. Also in /copies.

Max impactaccount
Options
1% · 3% · 5% · 10% · custom · off
Default
Off

Skip a buy if your own order would move the pool more than this. Memecoin pools are thin. On, you stop paying for illiquidity and miss some of the smallest launches.

Slippageaccount
Options
Auto · 2% · 5% · 10% · 15%
Default
Auto

How far the price may move against you between the quote and the fill. Auto starts at 30% and widens if the price keeps running, so the trade goes through. Slippage decides whether a trade fills; max chase is what caps your entry.

Cooldownaccount
Options
30m · 1h · 4h · off
Default
1 hour

A repeat buy of a token you already hold inside the window is skipped. Selling re-allows it straight away.

Max positionsaccount
Options

Default
Off

No new tokens are opened past this count. Adding to one you already hold is always allowed.

No re-buy after a sellaccount
Default
On, 24 hours

Once a token has left your wallet, copypump does not buy it back for 24 hours. Re-entering a coin one trader just exited, behind another, is a fast way to lose twice on the same token.

Exit styleaccount
Options
Mirror · all at once
Default
Mirror

Mirror: they sell 30% of their bag, 30% of yours is sold. All at once: any sell of theirs closes your whole position.

When the trader sells at a lossaccount
Options
Sell with them · hold when I'm down
Default
Sell with them

Hold when I'm down copies a sell only when your position is in profit at that moment. Down, you keep the bag, under your own stop loss, and the bot tells you it held.

Low balance alertaccount
Default
On

A message when a copy is skipped for lack of funds.

↺ Reset defaultsaccount

Puts the guards back to their defaults (fixed $50, minimum trade $20, max per trade $250, impact off, slippage auto, cooldown 1 hour, max chase 25%, exit style mirror) and clears take profit and stop loss. It does not touch the kill switch.

ℹ️ what is what?, in /settings, explains each term in the bot itself, with your current fee.

How a position closes

  • The trader sells. Copied at the fraction they sold, or in full with "all at once". When 98% or more is sold, or less than $1 would be left, the whole position closes, so you are never left holding dust.
  • Your take profit or stop loss fires. On the levels you set, not the trader's.
  • You sell by hand. 💸 sell on any position in /portfolio: 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% or a custom share, with what you would receive shown before you confirm.
  • 🧨 Sell all. From /portfolio: every position, one after another.
  • You withdraw the token. It leaves as-is, nothing sold. See withdrawals.

Your own exit, independent from the trader. Up this much over your entry, copypump sells without waiting. Ladder it (sell 50% at +100%, 25% at +300%) and let the rest ride as a moonbag.

Stop lossper trader · per position

The stop after a take profitper trader

Breakeven

Breakeven: once a rung has fired, the stop on the rest moves up to your entry, so what is left cannot turn into a loss. Keep my stop leaves it at your original level.

When a token cannot be sold

Sometimes the liquidity behind a memecoin disappears. copypump retries over at least 24 hours, through more than one route, before saying so. Only then is the position marked 🪫 can't be sold and its cost booked as a realised loss. The tokens stay in your wallet, the verdict is re-checked every 6 hours, and if a route comes back, copypump picks it up.

Stopping

You want toDo this
Stop one trader⏸ stop copying on their card, or 🗑 in /copies. Your position stays and keeps its PnL, but their future sells no longer close it.
Stop everything⏸ pause all in /settings or /copies. Nothing is copied, buys or sells, until you resume.
Close every position🧨 sell all in /portfolio. Pausing does not sell anything on its own.

A take profit or stop loss you set on a position with ⚙️ in /portfolio keeps protecting it after you stop copying the trader, and while copying is paused. /stop is a shortcut to /copies.

Your wallet and money

Your wallet

copypump creates a Solana wallet for you through Privy, a wallet infrastructure provider. copypump's app key is added as a signer, which is what lets the bot trade for you while you are offline. You can export the private key at any time: 🔑 export private key in /settings opens the key in a secure Privy window, and copypump never sees it. Your Solana key opens your funds directly.

Your key is your money. Anyone who has it controls your funds. Never share it or paste it in a chat.

Deposits

Copies spend USDC on Solana. /deposit gives you two ways in:

FromHow
SolanaSend USDC straight to your copypump address.
Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon, BNB ChainSend USDC to a one-time deposit address. Relay bridges it to your Solana balance, usually within a minute. You paste the wallet you send from first: if anything goes wrong, Relay refunds there. The screen shows the estimate and the bridge fee.

A one-time address takes USDC only, on that chain only, and expires after 48 hours. You get a message when the bridge lands, or if it is refunded.

Withdrawals

/withdraw sends funds to a wallet of yours.

  • Cash goes out as USDC, on the chain you pick: Solana, Base, Arbitrum, Ethereum, BNB Chain or Polygon. Minimum $1. To Solana it is a direct transfer; to another chain Relay bridges it, and the confirm screen shows what you will receive.
  • A token goes out as-is, on Solana, nothing sold: 25%, 50%, 100% or a custom share. It leaves your copypump portfolio.

copypump charges nothing on a withdrawal. The only gap between the amount and what arrives is the cost of the route.

Fees and referral

The commission

copypump takes a commission on every filled trade, buys and sells. The rate is on the last screen of the copy flow, before anything is armed, and in ℹ️ what is what? in /settings.

  • On a buy it comes out of the ticket, so a $50 copy spends $50 and you receive slightly less token.
  • On a sell it comes out of the proceeds.
  • The network cost of a trade is passed through.
  • No copypump fee on deposits, withdrawals, or holding a position. A trade that did not happen is not charged.

Invite friends

/referral gives you an invite link. People who start the bot through it get a discount on their trading fees, and you earn a share of what they pay on every trade, for as long as they copy. The current rates are on the /referral screen, and a referred user's discounted rate is what their confirm screen shows.

Your numbers

  • /portfolio: your cash, your open positions with their PnL, a 💸 sell and a ⚙️ button on each, and 🧨 sell all.
  • 🧾 trade history, from /portfolio: every closed position with what you put in, what you took out, the PnL, and the market cap at entry and exit.
  • /copies: who you copy, the size set for each, realised and open PnL per trader, the pause switch, and past traders you can copy again.

What the bot tells you

  • A copied buy: the token, your size, what the trader spent, and the market cap.
  • A copied sell: how much was sold, and the PnL of the whole position, with what is still open.
  • A take profit or stop loss firing.
  • A sell that did not go through, always.
  • A copy skipped by one of your settings, with the reason.
  • A token that can no longer be sold.

No message after a trade you saw usually means one of your rules did its job. /copies shows what each trader has actually done for you.

Alerts

Alerts are information. Nothing is bought or sold for you, though the buttons under an alert can start a trade, behind the usual confirmation.

  • Watch a trader without copying: 🔔 get alerts on a trader card. Nothing is traded.
  • Watch any wallet: up to ten wallet alerts.
  • Price watches: from a buy alert or a token card, a ping if the price dips to your level. A watch lives for 10 days.

/alerts lists what you watch. Paste a token address in the chat to open its card.

Share cards

/killcam, or 🎬 next to a closed position in your trade history, replays a trade as a card. A card shows your result in percentages. 💵 show what it made switches it to amounts, and % only switches back.

  • ↗ telegram sends the card into any chat.
  • 🔗 link publishes it as a page on copypumpfun.com/k/…, with your invite code attached.
A published card is public. Anyone with the link can open it. If you switched the card to amounts, the amounts go public with it. Keep it in percentages to share your result without your size.

Risks

  • Copying is not a promise of profit. You follow someone else's decisions with your own money, including the ones that do not work, and memecoins can go to zero. Size accordingly, and use the stop loss.
  • You land behind the trader. copypump copies in real time, but your fill comes after theirs. On a violent candle that is a worse price. Max chase turns a bad fill into a skipped trade.
  • Pools are thin. Your own order moves the price. Max impact is the guard that measures it.
  • Past PnL says nothing about the next trade. A wallet at the top of the leaderboard this week can be at the bottom next week.

FAQ

Is copypump affiliated with pump.fun?

No. copypump is an independent product. It reads the public pump.fun leaderboard and public on-chain data. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by pump.fun, and the traders listed have not endorsed it.

Who holds my money?

Your funds sit in a Solana wallet created for you through Privy. copypump's app key is added as a signer so the bot can trade while you are offline. You can export the private key at any time from /settings, and withdraw to any address.

Can I stop everything instantly?

Yes. Pause all in /settings or /copies stops every copy, buys and sells. Nothing is sold. To close your positions too, use Sell all in /portfolio.

What happens to my position if I stop copying someone?

Nothing is sold. The position stays and keeps its PnL. What stops is the copying, exits included: their future sells no longer close your bag. A take profit or stop loss you set on the position keeps protecting it.

Why did the bot not copy a trade I saw?

Usually one of your own rules: under your minimum, outside your market cap band, inside your cooldown, a re-buy within 24 hours of a sell, past your max chase, or at your position cap. Most skips send a message with the reason. A buy seen more than 60 seconds late is not copied, and a copy needs enough USDC behind it.

What is the minimum?

A fixed size starts at $3, and a percentage copy is never placed under $2. Deposit enough for several trades: with one buy's worth in the wallet, the copies after it wait for funds.

Does copypump take a cut of my profits?

No. It takes a commission on each filled trade, buys and sells, shown on the last screen of the copy flow. Nothing on your gains, deposits, withdrawals or holdings.

Can I copy several wallets at once?

Yes, with a different size for each. Decide in the copy flow what happens when two of them buy the same coin: one position opened by the first, or a position that grows with each of them.
