Exporting your copypump private key

copypump gives you a wallet you can use without thinking about wallets, and a door to leave with it. Both halves are worth understanding before you use either.

Your copypump balance lives in an embedded Solana wallet created for you and tied to your Telegram account. You never had to write down a seed phrase or install a wallet app. That convenience comes with a fair question: if I want to leave, can I take the wallet with me? Yes. That is what the export is for.

What kind of wallet it is

copypump creates your wallet through Privy, a wallet infrastructure provider. It is a normal Solana wallet: it has an address, it holds SOL, USDC and tokens, and everything it does is visible on any Solana explorer.

What makes it "embedded" is how you access it. Instead of a seed phrase in a notebook, access is tied to your login. copypump holds a permission to sign transactions on the wallet, which is how it can copy a trade while you are offline.

The export, and why the door matters

In the bot, tap export private key. It opens a secure page, and the key is revealed inside a Privy window. copypump never sees the key.

With the key you can import the wallet into a Solana wallet app that accepts private keys. Same address, same balance, same tokens, now under your direct control.

The door matters even if you never walk through it. A wallet you can export is a wallet you are not locked into. If copypump were down, or you simply wanted out, your funds are reachable without asking anyone.

The minute after you export

A private key is the wallet. Whoever has it controls the funds. The moment it is on your screen, the risks are ordinary and serious:

  • Do not screenshot it. Screenshots sync to cloud photo libraries.
  • Do not paste it into chats, notes or email. Not even to yourself.
  • Do not type it into websites. Only into a wallet app you installed from the official source.
  • Nobody legitimate will ask for it. Not a support agent, not a "recovery" service, not a helpful stranger in a group.
The most common way keys are lost is not hacking. It is someone being talked into pasting the key somewhere. If anyone asks for it, the conversation is a scam.

What exporting does not do

Exporting gives you a copy of the key. It does not take anything away from anyone else:

  • copypump can still trade. The signing permission that places your copies stays in place. To stop trading, use stop copying or pause all in the bot.
  • To leave completely, create a new wallet in an app you control and send everything to it. See how to withdraw from copypump.

That is the honest shape of it: a wallet you can take with you, a bot with permission to trade on it while you use the service, and a clean way to end that when you choose.

Frequently asked

How do I export my copypump private key?

In the bot, tap the export private key button. It opens a secure page where the key is revealed in a Privy window. copypump never sees the key.

What can I do with the key?

Import it into a Solana wallet app that accepts private keys. You then control the same wallet, with the same balance and tokens, directly, without the bot.

Does exporting the key stop copypump from trading?

No. Exporting gives you a copy of the key. It does not remove the permission copypump uses to place your copies. To stop trading, stop copying in the bot. To leave completely, move your funds to a new wallet that only you control.

What if someone asks for my key?

Do not share it, ever. Anyone with the key controls the wallet. No legitimate support team will ever ask for it.
