The copypump referral program, explained plainly
The copypump referral program runs from /referral: it gives you an invite link, people who start the bot through it get a discount on their trading fees, and you earn a share of what they pay on every trade, for as long as they copy. The current rates are on the /referral screen.
The copypump referral program runs from one command, /referral. It gives you an invite link. People who start the bot through it get a discount on their trading fees, and you earn a share of what they pay on every trade, for as long as they copy. The current rates are on the /referral screen, which is the only place to read them.
How the copypump referral program works
The copypump referral program is an invite link tied to your account: new people start the bot through it, and the program links their trading to you from then on. In practice:
- Open
/referralin@copypumpfun_bot. It shows your invite link and what you have earned. - Share the link with someone who wants to copytrade.
- They start the bot through it. The discount is for people who start the bot through the link, so send it before they open the bot on their own.
- They copy. Every trade they make pays a discounted fee, and a share of what they pay comes to you, for as long as they copy.
What the person you invite gets
The person you invite gets a discount on their trading fees. Their discounted rate is what their own confirm screen shows, on the last step of the copy flow, before anything is armed.
Everything else is exactly what any copypump user gets: their own Solana wallet, USDC on Solana as their balance, the full copy flow with their own caps and exits, the option to export their private key and withdraw at any time. If they want to check the product before starting, point them to is copypump safe? and the docs.
What you earn, and what you do not
You earn a share of what the people you invite pay in trading fees, on every trade, for as long as they copy. That follows from how copypump charges: a commission on each filled trade, buys and sells, shown on the last screen of the copy flow before anything is armed.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What does the invitee get? | A discount on their trading fees |
| What do you earn? | A share of what they pay on every trade |
| For how long? | For as long as they copy |
| A share of their deposits? | No. copypump charges nothing on deposits |
| A share of their profits? | No. copypump takes nothing on gains |
| Where are the rates? | On the /referral screen |
| Where do you see earnings? | On the /referral screen |
The practical upshot: your share grows with how actively the people you invite trade, and it stops when they stop copying. Inviting one person who copies for months is worth more than ten who sign up and never fund their wallet. So the best invite is to someone who already trades memecoins and wants to automate it, not to someone you have to talk into crypto.
We do not print the rates on this page on purpose. The screen shows the current ones, and a number copied into a blog post can go stale. For how fees work across a whole pump.fun trade, see pump.fun fees explained.
Share cards: invite with a result, not a promise
A share card is a replay of one of your closed trades that you can send to a chat or publish as a page, and a published card carries your invite code. It is the most natural way to invite someone: here is a trade I copied, here is how it went.
- Make one. Send
/killcamfor your last closed position, or tap 🎬 next to any closed position in your trade history, from/portfolio. - Send it to a chat. ↗ telegram sends the card into any Telegram chat.
- Publish it. 🔗 link publishes the card as a page on copypumpfun.com/k/…, with your invite code attached.
Why share in percentages only
Share cards should stay in percentages because a published card is public: anyone with the link can open it. A card shows your result in percentages. 💵 show what it made switches it to amounts, and % only switches it back. If you publish a card switched to amounts, the amounts go public with it.
Three reasons to keep it in percentages:
- Privacy. A percentage tells people how the trade went. An amount tells them how much money you have in play.
- Safety. Showing large sums in public makes you a target for scammers and impersonators.
- Honesty. A percentage compares fairly across sizes. A big dollar figure from a big stake says more about the stake than about the trade.
Sharing your invite link responsibly
Sharing a referral link responsibly means showing what really happens, losses included, and never promising returns. It protects the people you invite, and your reputation with them.
- Never promise profit. Copying can and does lose money, and past PnL says nothing about the next trade. Say so.
- Show losers too. A feed of only green cards is marketing, not a track record.
- Share closed trades, not open ones. Share cards replay closed positions, which is the right habit: an open gain can vanish. See realised vs unrealised PnL.
- Point to the official bot. Link
@copypumpfun_botand copypumpfun.com, so nobody lands on an impersonator. See copy trading scams. - Say you earn from the link. It is good practice, and it is what you would want to know in their place.
- Do not spam. Unsolicited DMs look exactly like the scams people are learning to avoid.
How to judge any copy trading referral program
A copy trading referral program is worth joining when what you earn comes from fees on real trades, the invitee also gets something, and the rates are shown in the product. The questions to ask of any of them:
- Does the person you invite get anything, or only you?
- Is your share taken from fees, or tied to how much they deposit? Deposit-based rewards reward pushing people to put in more.
- Are the rates visible in the product, or only in a promotional post?
- Can the people you invite leave at any time with their funds? In copypump they can export their key and withdraw.
To start, send /referral in the bot. And if the person you invite is brand new, how to copytrade a pump.fun wallet is the page to send with the link.
Frequently asked
How does the copypump referral program work?
Send /referral in the bot to get your invite link. People who start copypump through it get a discount on their trading fees, and you earn a share of what they pay on every trade, for as long as they copy.
Where do I find my copypump invite link?
In the bot. Send /referral to @copypumpfun_bot and it shows your invite link and what you have earned. Share cards published with the link button also carry your invite code.
What does someone get for using my copypump invite link?
A discount on their trading fees. Their discounted rate is what their own confirm screen shows, on the last step of the copy flow, before anything is armed.
What are the copypump referral rates?
The current rates are shown on the /referral screen in the bot. This page does not repeat them, so the screen is always the number to trust.
Do I earn a share of my referrals' profits or deposits?
No. You earn a share of what they pay in trading fees. copypump takes nothing on deposits, withdrawals, holdings or gains, so there is nothing there to share.
