How to find a pump.fun trader's wallet address

Most platforms hide the wallet behind the profile. pump.fun does the opposite: the profile is the wallet. Finding the address is usually a matter of knowing where to click, and checking twice before you copy it.

If you want to copy or track a pump.fun trader, you need the wallet, not the name. On pump.fun the two are tied together by design: a profile is a Solana wallet with a username and a picture on top. Here is where to find the address, and how to be sure it is the right one.

Why it is public at all

Every pump.fun trade is a Solana transaction, signed by a wallet and recorded on a public ledger. pump.fun's leaderboard, profiles and trade lists are views on that data. Nothing about a wallet's trading on pump.fun is private, which is exactly what makes copying possible. It also means you should not trust any single screen blindly: the chain is the source of truth, and everything else is a display.

Four places to find the address

1. The leaderboard

Each leaderboard entry is a wallet. Open the entry to reach the profile, which shows the full address.

2. The profile

A pump.fun profile shows the wallet it belongs to, the coins it holds and its activity. If someone gives you a username, looking up their profile gets you the address.

3. A coin's trades

Every coin page lists recent trades with the wallet that made each one. If you saw a trader buy a particular coin, you can find them in that list and click through.

4. A Solana explorer

Paste the address into any Solana explorer to see every transaction the wallet has made, on pump.fun and anywhere else. This is the step that confirms you have the right wallet.

How to check you have the right one

Before you copy a wallet, spend two minutes confirming it:

  • Match a trade. Pick one trade you know about, a coin and roughly when, and find it in the wallet's history on an explorer.
  • Match the full address. Shortened addresses, the first and last four characters with dots in between, can collide visually. Compare the full string, or copy it rather than typing it.
  • Beware lookalikes. Scammers create wallets whose addresses start and end with the same characters as a well-known one. Always copy from a source you trust.
  • Check activity. A wallet that has not traded in weeks is not the one you want to copy, whatever its record.
One person, several wallets. The leaderboard ranks wallets. A trader may run more than one, and may move their best activity to a new wallet without telling anyone. You copy the wallet you picked, not the person.

The shortcut

In copypump you do not need to find the address yourself. Use /find in the bot and paste whatever you have: a Solana wallet, a pump.fun profile link or a pump.fun username. The bot resolves it to the wallet and shows you the trader before you decide anything. Or skip the search and pick straight from the pump.fun leaderboard inside the bot.

If you only want to watch a wallet without copying it, /alerts does that. Once you are ready to copy, how to copytrade on pump.fun covers size, cap and exits.

Frequently asked

Is a pump.fun username the same as a wallet?

Each pump.fun profile belongs to a Solana wallet. The username is a label on top of it. The wallet is what trades, and it is the thing any tracker or copy tool needs to watch.

Can a username change?

Usernames are labels and can change, which is why tools should identify a trader by the wallet, not the name. If you copy a wallet and the name changes, the wallet is still the same trader.

Does one trader only use one wallet?

Not necessarily. A person can run several wallets, and the leaderboard ranks wallets, not people. What you can copy is a wallet's trades. Whether the person also trades elsewhere is something you usually cannot know.

Is it OK to copy a public wallet?

The trades are public on-chain data that anyone can read. Copying them with your own money is generally lawful. Being on the leaderboard does not mean a trader endorses any tool that reads it, and none of them has endorsed copypump.

Skip the lookup. Paste the name.

copypump takes a Solana address, a pump.fun profile link or a pump.fun username, and finds the wallet for you in Telegram.
