Kolscan copy trading, from tracker to autopilot

Kolscan is a free Solana wallet tracker with a leaderboard of top memecoin traders and KOLs, acquired by pump.fun in July 2025. It shows you what wallets trade; to copy one automatically, you take its address to a copy bot such as copypump.

Kolscan copy trading is a two-step job: Kolscan finds the wallet, a copy bot trades it. Kolscan is a free Solana wallet tracker that shows what top memecoin traders and KOLs buy and sell in real time, with their token PnL and a leaderboard. It does not, by its own description, place trades in your wallet. For that you take the wallet's address to a copier. This page covers both halves.

What Kolscan is

Kolscan is a wallet tracker for Solana memecoin traders. A KOL (key opinion leader) is a trader with a public following, usually on X. Kolscan's own FAQ describes the product as monitoring the activity of top memecoin traders and KOLs, with real-time transactions, token PnL, and a leaderboard ranking their performance. At the time of writing (September 2026) its site shows:

  • A live trade feed of the wallets it tracks, buys and sells, as they happen.
  • A leaderboard with daily, weekly and monthly views.
  • Wallet pages for any address you search, not only listed KOLs. Its FAQ notes the data starts with the last 100 transactions unless you load more.
  • A listing process for traders who want to appear: its FAQ asks for $100k or more of PnL in recent months and a verification through its X account.

All Kolscan features are free, according to that same FAQ.

pump.fun and Kolscan

pump.fun bought Kolscan in July 2025, its first acquisition. The Block reported the deal on 10 July 2025, days before pump.fun's token sale, and CoinDesk covered it the next day. According to The Block, pump.fun said Kolscan's services would be free and that it wanted the leaderboard to reward real traders again, with better insight into copytrading activity. No price was disclosed.

copypump is not part of that story. copypump is an independent product: it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by pump.fun, and the traders on any leaderboard have not endorsed it. It reads the same public on-chain data anyone can.

A tracker vs a copier

A tracker tells you a wallet traded; a copier trades for you when it does. You need the first to choose and the second to act, and they are good at different things:

Tracker (Kolscan)Copier (copypump)
JobShow trades, PnL and rankingsPlace your trades when the wallet trades
Your moneyNot involvedYour USDC balance, at your size
SellsYou see them in the feedCopied into your position, by default in proportion
While you sleepThe feed keeps scrollingPositions open and close
Best forResearch, comparing wallets, spotting who is earlyExecution with rules set in advance
CostFree, per its FAQA commission on each filled trade, shown before you arm a copy

Copying by hand from a feed runs into the problem every manual copier hits: by the time you have seen the buy, opened the token and clicked, the price has moved, and the sell comes when you are not looking. More on that in how to track a pump.fun wallet.

Kolscan copy trading: how to copy a Kolscan wallet

To copy a wallet from Kolscan automatically, copy its Solana address and send it to copypump with /find. Step by step:

  1. Pick the wallet on Kolscan. Open its page and look past the headline number: several windows, realised results, how many tokens it trades.
  2. Copy the address from the wallet page, as text. copypump does not read screenshots.
  3. Send /find and the address to @copypumpfun_bot. A pump.fun profile link or username works too. A bare address pasted without /find is read as a token first.
  4. Run the copy flow. About a dozen questions, nothing pre-selected: size, minimum trader trade, market cap band, first buys only, take profit, stop loss, max chase and more. The last screen lists every answer and the fee before anything is armed.
  5. Fund it. /deposit takes USDC on Solana, or USDC from Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Polygon or BNB Chain through Relay.

From then on, the wallet's buys and sells are copied at your size, and /copies shows what that trader has actually done for you. If you only want to watch, use 🔔 get alerts on the trader card instead; nothing is traded. Tips on finding addresses are in how to find a pump.fun wallet address.

Kolscan leaderboard vs the pump.fun leaderboard

The two leaderboards answer different questions. Kolscan ranks the KOLs and top traders it tracks, over a day, a week or a month. The public pump.fun leaderboard ranks wallets by PnL on pump.fun. copypump's /leaderboard shows the pump.fun one (24h, 7d or 30d, refreshed every 10 minutes), and any wallet from Kolscan can be added through /find. Read both with the same caution: a short window rewards one lucky trade, see the leaderboard's three clocks.

Before you copy anything you found on either board, check three things on the wallet page: does it rank well on more than one window, is the PnL realised (sold) rather than paper gains on open bags, and are its trade sizes in a range your copy can follow without moving a thin pool on its own? A wallet that passes all three is a candidate, not a promise. The full method is in how to vet a wallet before copying.

Copying KOL wallets: the crowd problem

Copying a KOL wallet is harder than copying a quiet one, because you are rarely the only follower. When a well-known wallet buys, trackers light up, copy bots fire and people rush in. Each of those buys lifts the price before yours lands, and the wallet you copy can sell into that demand. A quiet wallet with a strong realised record often gives cleaner fills than a famous one. We go deeper in Solana KOL wallets and copy trading vs alpha calls.

If you copy one anyway, set the guards that matter most for crowded entries:

  • Max chase tight, so a buy that already ran far past their entry is skipped.
  • Max impact on, in /settings, so you do not pay for a thin pool.
  • Minimum trader trade above their small probes.
  • A stop loss, because their plan may be to be out before you.
A name is not a track record. A KOL's following says nothing about the next trade, and neither does last month's PnL. Copied trades can and do lose money, and memecoins can go to zero. Keep each copy small enough to lose in full.

Frequently asked

What is Kolscan?

Kolscan is a Solana wallet tracker that monitors top memecoin traders and KOLs. It shows their transactions in real time, token PnL, and a leaderboard ranking their performance. Its FAQ says all features are free.

Does pump.fun own Kolscan?

Yes. pump.fun acquired Kolscan in July 2025, its first acquisition, as reported by The Block and CoinDesk. Kolscan's services were made free after the deal.

Can you copy trade on Kolscan?

Kolscan describes itself as a tracker: trades, PnL and a leaderboard. To copy a wallet you find there automatically, paste its address into a copy trading bot. In copypump that is /find followed by the address.

How is the Kolscan leaderboard different from the pump.fun leaderboard?

Kolscan ranks the KOLs and top traders it tracks, over daily, weekly and monthly windows. The pump.fun leaderboard ranks wallets by PnL on pump.fun. copypump's /leaderboard shows the pump.fun one, and any Kolscan wallet can be added through /find.

Should I copy KOL wallets?

Carefully. A KOL's buys are watched by many people at once, so the price often moves before your copy lands. Use a tight max chase, a minimum trader trade and small sizes, and judge the wallet on realised PnL, not reputation.

Found a wallet on Kolscan? Copy it.

Send /find with the address to @copypumpfun_bot, set your size and rules, and its next buy and sell are copied into your wallet.
